I have used many of these techniques; this is a nice summation of
helps that Google can provide you in your research.

Calhoun. It is my understanding his son has completed a 4th book and is working
on a
fifth. My lineage has been traced back to ll90 and not being able to afford the
4th and
5th volumes, I have all of the information I need. The books, I am told by my
cousin, cost
$50 each when new. Except for a few pencil markings these books are in mint
condition. I
will sell all three books for $75 plus shipping. (I have no way at the moment
to determine
the shipping until and if someone would want to purchase these books.) If
anyone is
interested, feel free to email me. How do you know I will keep my end of the
deal? The
best answer I can give you is I am a Calhoun and upon my memories of my
ancestors I will
keep my word. Thanks, Chris

Thanks for all of the responses and how quickly they came. I have since made arrangements with one of the people who sent me an email so the books are no longer available. If something should prevent the sale from going thru, as remote as it is, I will repost the listing advertising the books for sale. I really think this is a done deal but thanks to ALL of you who responded. I never realized I would get so many so fast. Again, thanks, Chris

Sorry I don't reconize those names being in my history. Have you try and contact Owen Calhoun? He seems to have the most expansive list of Calhoun relatives. You can find his email address on Geneology Forum.

Searching for death/obit information on Susan Carrico Calhoun (b1840),
daughter of Benedict Carrico, wife of Vincent B. Calhoun (b1839). No
Calhouns appear after MO census 1880 and 1890. Children of Susan and
Vincent were: Vincent B, Jr. (1864), Alfred (1867), William D (1870),
Mary I (1872), Edward T (1874), Oliver (1869), and Martillus (1869).
Susan appears to be alive as late as 1884-- found in Audrain, Monroe,
Shelby Counties. Nothing further is known of any of the children-- I am
hoping to connect my Edward T (of Washington State - ca 1899/1915) with
this family.
Vincent was located in Mendocino Co, CA census 1890 with son,
Vincent, Jr., and was designated as "widower". Alfred later was located
in Ukiah, CA in 1902, died 1946 in San Joaquin Co., CA.
Any information on any of the above would be appreciated.

All I have as far as birth and death are years and these were supplied by someone who had reashed part of this line before. As far as were they lived he grandfather said they were from Kentucky the Pulaski co. area.Hiram's wife was Harriet Haynes and I only have a date of 1845.hiram's second wife was Elizabeth Colyer 1826-1900.Again dates are in years because that's all I have to go by.As I said last time thank you in advance.
