Been trying to identify my ggf for 35 years, based on fragmentary family stories.
Suggestions and advice solicited and appreciated.
1. William CALDWELL of SC married Anna Eliza TURNER (born January 1872), daughter of
William J. and Sarah Ann TURNER from Bladen County, NC. No info on marriage date or
location.
2. William and Anna Eliza (TURNER) CALDWELL, together with her parents and siblings, moved
to or near Live Oak (Suwanee County), FL, probably sometime before 1889. No info on
reason for move.
3. William and Anna Eliza (TURNER) CALDWELL had two known children, both born probably in
Suwanee County, FL:
a. Queen Victoria Novabelle CALDWELL, born September 15, 1889.
b. Charles William CALDWELL, born August 31, 1892.
4. William CALDWELL left his wife and two children (reason unknown) sometime between about
1895-1900 and returned to SC. No info on possible divorce date or location.
5. His former wife "Mrs. Annie Eliza CALDWELL" remarried April 5, 1900 in
Suwanee County, FL.

I know nothing else about William CALDWELL.
Does any of this ring any bells with other SC CALDWELL researchers?
Thanks, Bill Caldwell
