Hi, I have not posted in a while. Am looking for an Ada Caldwell b. abt 1880, married
Carroll Green Sullivan, Dec 28, 1899,
and d. March 7, 1909 in childbirth. Marriage cert and death cert state she was born
Williamson Co. In an old letter from my
great aunt Grace to my mother, I have found out she may have had a half brother named

Any info appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Maggie,
I know this is VERY vague, but while searching for my branch of
CALDWELLs who came from Ireland > Maryland (Eastern Shore) > Kentucky
(Christian Co.) > Texas (Brazoria Co.), I remember a few years back seeing
a connection between the names CALDWELL and SWEENEY. I think it may have
been in KY then into TX, but I remember a SWEENEY/LOONEY connection - in
fact, I think there was a newsletter just for the SWEENEY/LOONEY family,
which had CALDWELLs mentioned in it. I don't, however remember where they
lived. Perhaps you could find a listing for those names on the web or in a
genealogical publication. If they are still publishing the newsletter, it
might give you some clues about that particular LOONEY line. Sorry I
couldn't be more specific, but it was more than five years ago that I saw
this newsletter. Good luck with your research!
