CALDWELLS--or any others
Have you guys not been suckered before with those "family name"
(whatever family name) con artists? They contain nothing of use to any
genealogist who is seeking specific information!
Please don't get excited about this.

Because this book is quite long & doesn't have an index, I won't be
doing individual look ups. I will be posting the entire book as time
permits. All I ask is your patience. <g>

Patti,
I am also interested in the book you purchased. You have the same lines
that I have. The genealogy that I have was done in 1959 but I found some
errors in it so I started searching again. My husband told me about the
Coat of Arms but have been unable to find anything. I have very little
information on the Caldwell's from France. Please let me know where I can
find the book.

Hi,
As I said, I picked the booklet up at a flea market. It has no author.
The title is "Historical & Biographical Sketch of the Caldwell
Family", published by: Historical Publishing Company, Washington, DC.
The is no date of publication. I imagine it was a privately published
booklet. Hope this helps. I will be posting the entire booklet (which
is quite long) to the mailing list as time permits.

Hi fellow rooters,
Tonight I changed the tag lines (the little blurbs that automatically
appear with each message that you post) in order to give better
unsubscribing instructions. Originally we were told that the tag lines
would only hold 3 or 4 lines, so I elected to give only un sub
instructions for the regular list. This has proved most confusing to
folks so I added an auto click un sub line for the "Digest Mode"
subscribers also. When you need to unsubscribe, please be sure that
your asking for removal from the correct list. Not doing this has
caused a great deal of work and confusion.
If you've changed your email address and are having your original
subscription forwarded from your old address to your new one, you CAN
NOT unsubscribe from your new address. Please contact me directly
(another tag line) giving me the particulars and I'd be most happy to
manually unsubscribe you.
Hope your all reaping great rewards from our lists. I personally think
that my 8 lists are the warmest and most gracious ones on the web.
Good luck
Patti Caldwell Fasy - Listmistress
