I have been searching unsuccessfully for the family of
Edgar Charles Caldwell. On his WW I Draft card, he
listed his birth date as May 18, 1892 in Greenville
but have been unable to locate any Caldwells there so
I suspect the family was not there. Edgar was African
American. Any direction would be most appreciated!!
Edgar enlisted in 1912 from the Columbus Barracks in
Ohio in the 24th Infantry. Thank you.

Their was no Husban so who was he Husban and was he
dead. I have look in
the 1850 and 1870 Census for Anderson and Abbeville
Co's for a Sarah
that will match up with her.
?? Is Sara the mother of John R. in the 1880
Census? Would like to hear
from enyone who is working on the Caldwell from the
Anderson/Abbeville
Co's area. Will share information I have.
