Hi Sybil, could your John H Caldwell have been from Tennessee? I have an
Ada Caldwell, born abt 1880, supposedly inWilliamson Co, Tn. Cannot find
anything about her before her marriage in 1899 to Carroll Green Sullivan.
She died in 1909 in childbirth. She supposedly had a half brother named
Will. Do you think there could be a connection? I know I'm grasping at
straws, but always hoping. Thanks.

My grandmother was Maude Mae Caldwell, b. 26 Aug 1889 in Blossom,

Her father was John H. Caldwell, b. est. 1857, location unknown, d. 6
Apr 1933 in Eakly, Caddo, OK. John H. C. married several times. One
marriage was Martha C. South who died in childbirth ca. 1892 in Blossom,
TX. He married one time in Hopkins County, TX. He apparently lived
some time in Delta County, TX. That's all I know--and would appreciate
any information about his ancestors. He had one other daughter named
Ada and a son named Otis. Thanks for any help. Sybil Thompson
