Verbie, I desc. from Fannie and Caldwell Maxwell. I have my genealogy
computer down so can not pull up all my records, but
I believe I have the same info as you have. Did you get the
Whalin records from Phil in Chicago. He and his wife visited me the year of
his death, perhaps 5 or 6 months before. We went to York Co together. I am
in Missouri now but was living in Haywood Co Nc at the time. early in
miller co mo.

married Elinor McPhilemy Dtr. of James McPhilemy ,sister of Agnes
McPhilemy she may or not be his only wife the children were born late in
life It is probable that the much older brothers mentioned by John Whalen
do exist Roberts Mother may have been a wallace, children of Nathan
Caldwell and[Elinor] are Robert Caldwell B.County Tyrone, Ireland died
before 1970 m. Elizabeth Love 1789 Daughter of John and Margaret Love they
made their living from a blacksmith shop Children of Robert and Elizibeth
Margaret age 22 Frances age22 Robert 3 and Mary e. 2 these are the children
of Margaret and Frances they later married the fathers of the children
Margaret m. McArthur and Frances a Maxwell. John Caldwellb.1825 in York
Co
sc Married about 1848 to Margaret Neeland b 1826 daughter of Robert
andMargaret John was about 27 years old when the whole family came to
