I'm a volunteer at the Campbell County Historical Society and we are in
the process of clearing out all of our duplicate periodicals, soooooo I
latched on to the ones called "Kentucky Ancestors". I just finished
picking over 70 volumes to find all the Moore info, now I'll get started
on all the CALDWELL I can find. If it runs anything like the MOORE line

Formal education for young ladies in Danville dates from 1856, when the
Henderson Female Institute was opened with the support of Charles
Henderson, probably the towns wealthiest man at the time. Four years
later the schools name was changed to Caldwell Institute because of
generous gifts from the Caldwell family, important Danville and Boyle
County landowners. Under both names, the school had close connections
with the Presbyterian Church.
