I don't know of a connection to Linda's family. Grandfather is Joseph
David
CALDWELL b. 15 Jun, 1897. His SS app. in 1937 gives pob Little Rock,
AR and his parents Dave CALDWELL/ Betty CLARK. His WW1 draft card in 1918
gives pob McKee Co, AR. I think there is no such place, but there is a
McGehee, Desha, AR. There is a difference in the handwriting on the card
between the signature and the rest of the card; that could mean an
interpretation error.Tradition says that Joe was raised by an aunt, possibly
meaning that his parents had died. Have been unable to find him in any
census. The earliest record is his marriage to Iva MARLOW, Mar, 1918 in
Cottle Co, TX.
