Hi Marian,
I had a simliar experience. My 15 yr old dau was in a coma for 8 hrs one
day; doctors never did find out why. She is 45.
Thanks for sharing. Audrey
I started my genealogy in 1980, 20 years ago, and I did foolish things also.
I did not record my sources and I also did not put the females names in my
records, just the males.
In 1980 my son became very ill and the doctors did not know what was wrong
with him, so they told me to try to do a medical history. This started my
research, so I am asking that all researchers PLEASE put in cause of death or
family illness's if known.
To this day, the doctors still don't know why my son went into a coma, 3
weeks in ICU and he woke up and thought he had been at a nurse's house. He
said he heard me talking to him, but he couldn't answer me. So never give up.
God Bless
Marian

<< I can sympathize with Barbara about not having recorded sources. I also
did that early on. I would caution everyone to diligently record
sources. Information without supporting sources can't be taken as
seriously as information with sources. I have several instances of notes
that I have taken about an ancestor that is really important, but I
didn't record the source. Now I can't substantiate the information, so
I don't publish it.
