It's Gustav Anjou, renowned genealogical fraud.
Only three of the Anjou genealogies were actually printed; the works on the
Freeman, Blaisdell and Shapleigh families.
The unprinted genealogies were all bound typescripts or carbons of the
original and even the unsigned ones are recognizable as being Anjous'
creations. In 1927, Anjou published a catalog of 192 "genealogies," leaving
many unaccounted for. Over 305 surnames have been identified as the
misleading work of Gustave Anjou.
The surname, Caldwell, was one of those 192 genealogies.
I have some more about Anjou at
http://caldwellgenealogy.com/anjou.html
On the other hand, I'd love to get a copy of that Anjou report if possible.
Best Regards,
John Caldwell

I have an 80 page booklet on Caldwell Lineage and Associate Families with
data from a smudged carbon copy report by Austava Anjou. It extends the
ancestral lineage of Joseph Caldwell (m. Jane McGhie in 1681) back another
10 generations. Has this information been published?Caldwell
