I am Susan from New Jersey and would like to find anything about my
paternal
greatgrandmother,Lawrence Grove Caldwell. She was born in Craig,Co., Virginia
on May 4,1869. She married Andrew Jackson Damewood on Dec. 25,1888. They had
a son Harry Fulton Damewood,my grandfather. I was told that Lawrence's
parents were Alexander Gibson Caldwell and Marcella Surber but have no
documentation. There are so many Caldwells in that area there must be a
connection. Would appreciate any help. Thanks
