I believe I remember reading an e-mail recently, which referred to the above.
Back in the '80s when I began searching my line of Caldwell's, the following
information was sent to me. It is work done by Otis W. Caldwell and Others,
March 1943 and is hand drawn on a 12" X 22" sheet and very hard to read. If
you connect and are interested in the remaining part, descendants of
Alexander & Martha Coshow Caldwell, I will continue to transcribe it, as best I can.
I am in unfamiliar surroundings, as is not my line.

Robert was the father of nine children; (1) Martha 1801-1824 m. Joseph
Evans; (2) Susan b 1803-1867 was the 2nd wife of Joseph Evans and parents of
Minerva Evans and others. Minerva m. Milton G. Caldwell, relationship, if any,
unknown; (3) *Alexander b. Jan 24, 1805 d. May 2, 1865 married Martha Coshow
1802-1894, the daughter of John Coshow, soldier Indian War of 1791 & survivor
St. Clair’s Defeat (French); (4) John 1807-1867 m. Mary McDonald 1816-1900,
she, known as “Aunt Polly Caldwell”, lived on the Strawtown Road, Boone Co, IN;
(5) Robert 1811-1898, a Presbyyerian Minister (40 yrs) in Sharpsburg, KY, m.
1st Rachel Comingo, m 2nd Mary Taylor, Robert’s son Wallace was the
inventor of the elevator and with his sons and others manufactured elevators and
other machinery in Chicago and Oak Park, IL. Robert’s daughter, Lula, married
Mr. Craft and their daughter, Marcella, became a noted opera soprano, who now
lives in Riverside, CA. Robert’s daughter, Sue, unmarried, and her niece,
Marcella Craft lived together in Riverside, CA; (6) David 1814-1841 m. Nancy
Bradshaw 1814-1908; (7) Nancy Margaret 1816-1888 m. Samuel Brown 1813-1900. They
lived on the farm adjoining John and “Aunt Polly” Caldwell. (8) Elizabeth
1819-1854 m. Burrell Sadler (9) Celia Marie 1822-1872 m. 1st James Caldwell
[unknown origin] m. 2nd Matthias Goldsbury.
