By chance, check with the funeral homes in the area or voter's
registration.. They have great records.

Subject: [CALDWELL-L] 1920/Dallas,Texas/ Caldwell,J.M. & Louise
Hello,
I am new to this list. I really am at a brickwall with my Caldwell
line. There isn't very much to tell. I am looking for my grand
parents. My grandmother LOUISE married again and she only
signed her name as Mrs. J.M. Caldwell, so I don't know his name.
She didn't want her new husband to know she had already
been married with a son. My father wasn't able to stay in
contact with her. Whenever she did answer his letter, she
only had Mrs. J.M.Caldwell on the return address.
I believe they married about 1915 but I am only guessing.
I can't find any Obit; or SSDI for them. I don't know if she
went by her maiden name of Matchette or her last married
name of Levey. I can't find them on any census at all. LOUISE
was born 1889 in Nebraska.
I have only two addresses but I think the one has a misspelled
street and the area is now a park I think. These are the addresses.
4201 Amagrust St; in Dallas and in 1943 they lived at
416 Clermont, Dallas. I tried asking the city directory lookups
but they couldn't find them. Sorry there isn't more.
Anyone recognizes them?
Thank You,
Millie NJ
