If you cannot get a lead on him check out the county coroners records. Many
people don't think of that. A coroners records can contain a huge amount of
info. Including who was notified and identified the dead.
Usually those records even tell what was in a persons pockets also details of
things like a Masonic ring or tattoo . All could be clues . I have seen the
records that told the info on the Identifications in their pockets and even the
writing on the back of a watch.
Most of the coroners records from that era don't contain pictures but the 1930's
forward do and you just ask the clerk to remove them.
Coroners records vary by county and some go way way back. I wish people would
extract the genealogical info and publish them.

Searching for any information about Albert Blair Caldwell who
married
Felicity Alice Chapman, probably in Clay County or Nicholas County, W.Va.
around 1885-1910. Albert is thought to have come from Titusville, PA. He
lived in Clay County, W.Va. and drowned near the Town of Clay, W. VA. in the
early 1920s. Nothing else is known about him. He was my grand father.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
