Mary,
Are you concerned about the spelling differences? I don't think
there is much contradiction here. It is difficult to tell if
the father's name is Andros, Andrew, Andrews, or Anderson. It
is likely to be one of his ancestor's surnames. The mother's
name could easily be Margaret Elizabeth. Peggy is a short form
of Margaret.

reasons behind them.

article is that there are a lot of people who just can't spell
and we just have to watch out for it.
