Isn't genealogy fun?? The answer to one question, leads to two more......
The Osgood book covers Joseph Caldwell (c1685-c1757) of New Hampshire
and his descendants (mostly NH, VT, NY, northern MA). This book, and
many others on various Caldwell families, have been microfilmed by
the FHC, if you do not live near a major city library that has them.
You might be able to also order copies from the Library of Congress.

There is Caldwell's in my line. I have a JohnAnn Eliza Caldwell who
married Francis Payne Mar of 1845 in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida.
Would she by any chance be in your book? Have no additional information on
her except death year. She evidently died in childbirth or shortly
thereafter due to complications.
Thank you ever so much. Ms Eddie Faye Payne Ansley, edifay(a)earthlink.net
