I'm looking for any information on Thomas Caldwell. He was married to Louise Smith. I only know the name of one of their children - Luther Caldwell. Luther was born in 1877 in Kentucky. He married Edna Francis Hall about 1902 in Floyd County, Kentucky. If anyone has information on this line of Caldwells, please e-mail me. Thanks so much.

Is there ever a reunion for the Obion County Caldwells?
The records or what there are .. are poor, Ireland wasn't considered worthy
of record keeping by the Enlgish that far back... Church records are poor at
best...
Check the LDS for microfilm, they may have more done since I last checked.
The was a large family grouping in Londonderry.. Many of the American
Caldwells came from that area..

Hi,
Are there more details about the Londonderry Caldwells in there?
I have in my tree a Samual CALDWELL b. 1769 in Londonderry Ireland. But he
married 30 DEC 1789 in Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada. I wonder if there
were very many Caldwells in Londonderry back then.

My maternal great grandmother was Mae Caldwell, born abt 1871, probably in Chicago, IL. Mother of Arthur (my grandfather), Gertrude, and Edmund Vernon Luff. She married a Luff who deserted her and kids then died at sea. She then remarried a Moran. All Chicago records prior to 1872 were destroyed in the great Chicago fire. My grandfather was raised in an orphanage. Can anyone help me with any infomation?

Keith, I know this is an old message and you probably have your answer by now, but here it is.
Mary and Susan were half-sisters, being born to different Mothers, at least according to the info I have. The two Coldwell/Caldwell men are not blood relatives. We just came back from a wonderful trip to NS. Email me. Laurene

I have both of these families in my database, but according to the relationship calculator, the 2 males are not related.
I also noticed that Mary and Susan are half sisters, their Father having been married 2x. Which family have you traced to Kentville? I might have info that you are missing. Laurene
Hi! Flo:
I have some info on Andrew Jackson Caldwell born 1775. I have a copy of his will but can't put my hands on it right now. He went to Hempstead Co., AR in the 1820's but went back to KY about a year before he died. I have a list of his children etc. I'm willing to share with you what I have.
I also believe that the Jacksons are connected double or triple with the Caldwell line but haven't figured it out yet.
