Thank you for the information, which helps clear up some confusion I've had about her name. The family has always called her Nellie Cadwell, but other relatives have done research that's shown Hannah Caldwell. I haven't located her in a census before she married, so I haven't been able to figure out for certain what her name is. Thanks again for sharing this information with me, it's really helpful.

Seeking information about a Hannah or Nellie Caldwell (unsure which was her name, suspect she may have been Hannah Nellie Caldwell possibly) born in the 1840s in Pennsylvania. The 1880 census gives her father's POB as Massachusetts and mother's as New Jersey, but I know sometimes this information is not always the most reliable. She died 3 August 1890 in Hartwick, Michigan. Her surname is possibly Cadwell, but more likely Caldwell. She married Reuben Bartlett Gibbs who was a school teacher from Massachusetts (son of Charles Gibbs and Sarah 'Sally' Bartlett) I'm not sure if they were married in Michigan or Illinois. I don't know if the list of children I have is complete, and aside from a birth year, I have no information about them, besides my ancestor. They had Victor (married Elizabeth Jane Olmsted), Charles, Robert, William, and Jennie. I would love to exchange information about any of these people.

Sidney,
Thanks for the info on Nancy. The
only questions I have are which one was the mother to Andrew listed on the 1900 census. Tennie is listed
at age 20 but Nancy is not listed.
Next, was Tennie or Melvin married
before because Audreys` obit lists
several half brothers & sisters?
