Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
If you have Caldwells from Knox, Clay, Leslie, or Harlan Counties in KY, I
would sure love to have a copy of it. Thanks.

There are dozens of Colwells in Union County Georgia from Buncombe
County, N.C. Check the GAUNION-L-request(a)rootsweb.com list and see if
they can help you out. I was just there yesterday looking at census
information for my THOMAS line and noticed that the Caldwell name was
almost always spelled Colwell there and they were all from Buncombe
Co. They have a webpage for Union Co. and have many of the census
records online... Hope this helps. Leslie

HI, Kathy! I must have missed an earlier posting about your list, and would
very much like to see it. Would you be so kind as to send it to me? My
mother's maiden name was Caldwell, and I've been trying to find the family
tree.
Thanks for your help!

Kathy,
Thanks so much for offering your CALDWELL file.
Would it be easier for you to post it to the list first and let
those of us who want it take it from there?
Just a suggestion.
I'd like very much to have a copy of it.
Even if it isn't a match-up with mine I like to keep
those under "maybe???"
Thanks,
Dorrie
WRa1249345(a)AOL.com and thanks a bunch. Will try for next week to get my
stuff posted on the Caldwell families coming from Ireland to Canada and
crossing over. They did not do it in lots like families. A few here and
there. Wilma
