I have the following information:
1-? Duncan Calder
Born: August / 1797.
Islay, Argyllshire, Scotland.
Died: February 27, 1876.
London, Middlesex County, Ontario.
His birthplace is recorded as "Islay." He was 78 years & 6 ms. of
age.
Married to: Charlotte Skelton.
May 21, 1826 in St. Andrew Est., Argenteuil County, Quebec, Canada.
Profession: - Gentleman in the 1871 census, and on his Death Registration. He may have
been a school teacher.
Place of Residence: - Dundas, Ontario in 1870 (requires verification).
- London, Ontario in the 1871 census. He appears to be residing in the home of his
son-in-law, James Ross.
Notes: - His Death Registration states that his religious denomination was Baptist, and
that he was born in Islay.
- He may have been the informant on the death of, Annie Catherine Calder, in
Dundas, Ontario (Death Reg. # 008575 / 70.
