thanks for the further information, I have a George Cairns in my tree, born
about 1800, but in Scotland, that was why I wondered about the dates and
place, he was the brother ( I think)of my Janet Cairns, but as my lot were
earlier, I can't see a connection, but thanks for the information.

Looking at the death records of my Great Grandfather GEORGE CAIRNS

shows he died in his home at 1055 Cedar Sault Ste, Marie Michigan July
31, 1911 from heat exhaustion. Age 45 years, 2 months, 27 days. It also
says that he was a teamster and that he was born in Michigan but his
parents are born in Ontario but don't list there names. That's all i
know about him.
