Dear Mr/Ms. Cain, My father always said our ancestors came from the Isle of Man. I know
John Cain, my g-g-g-g-g-g grandfather, came from England around 1700 ( /- 10 years).
Family legend has it that he traveled with a man named Edmund ILLIF. They were in what is
now Delaware and came up to New Jersey around 1720. We Cains are still in the same area
of Southern New Jersey. John Cain is a common name so finding him leaving England is very
difficult.
If you have Cain ancient history, I would love to find out more about it.
Thank you.. Earl Cain
