HERRIN - Robert Earl "Jack" Cain, 77, passed away at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20,
2009, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He had been battling cancer for quite some time. After coming to know the Lord in March,

serving the fish he caught. He also took great pride in making his famous chili and taking
it to family gatherings. He loved to plant a garden and share his tomatoes and peppers
with everyone, and taking care of bird houses and working with tools.
Jack liked to tease and aggravate, but most of all enjoyed giving and spending time with
family and friends. He was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather and uncle who
will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
