Does anyone know how many individual Cain/Caine males there were in the Colonial to
Revolutionary Era?
I'm sure most of us have heard some variant of the Seven Cain brothers legend; has
anything been proven of this?
I told my best friend from high school that I would work on her genealogy for her - I
enjoy doing it. Her family is from Orange County, NC; mine is from Bladen County, NC. We
were both raised in Greensboro. My mother was a Cain; my friend's 3ggrandmother was a
Cain, one of Hugh Cain's granddaughters.
I'm just looking to see what is out there. I haven't been able to get far in my
Cain history - Evan Cain, Bladen County, 1790's. So I'm also hoping to figure out
more for my family at the same time.
Thanks,
Kristen
