Dear Kristen, My Cain line went through Guilford Co. to Greene Co., OH.
Just curious, do you still live in Greensboro? How far back are you with
your Cain line? Were yours in NC?. Thanks, Dianne Cain Black

Does anyone know how many individual Cain/Caine males there were in the
Colonial to Revolutionary Era?
I'm sure most of us have heard some variant of the Seven Cain brothers
legend; has anything been proven of this?
I told my best friend from high school that I would work on her genealogy
for her - I enjoy doing it. Her family is from Orange County, NC; mine is
from Bladen County, NC. We were both raised in Greensboro. My mother was a
Cain; my friend's 3ggrandmother was a Cain, one of Hugh Cain's
granddaughters.
I'm just looking to see what is out there. I haven't been able to get far in
my Cain history - Evan Cain, Bladen County, 1790's. So I'm also hoping to
figure out more for my family at the same time.
Thanks,
Kristen
