To all list members, I recently found out about a site called USGenWeb
Archives that wants submissions from everyone. Someone sent a message to
everyone on another list I am on and I checked it out. Now I am in the
process of transcribing the wills, Civil War records, etc in order to have
them posted to the appropriate state archives. The list manager just told
me to send my information in an email message and he would get it posted.
Couldn't have been easier. Since there is a wonderful search engine on
the site it will help people find my submission and perhaps connect with
me if we are searching the same people. Following is a list of items they
accept. The site is:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ You can
also get to the site off of the USGenWeb site. I urge everyone to start
submitting their research as time allows. Karen
