ALLEN DEWAYNE TARTER July 14, 1970-Sept. 13, 2009 Allen Dewayne Tarter, age 39, of
Bronston, Ky., passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009 at his home. He was born July 14,
1970 in Indianapolis, Ind., the son of the late Mack Dewayne and Hettie Guffey Tarter. On
August 18, 1989 he united in marriage to Michelle Heath Tarter in Crossville, Tenn., who
survives. He is also survived by two sons-Elijah Allen Tarter of Bronston, Ky. and Zachary
Scott Tarter of Somerset, Ky.; one daughter-Micah Shae Tarter of Bronston, Ky.; three
brothers-Benny and Danny Decker, both of Ferguson, Ky., Terry (and Connie) Decker of
Monticello, Ky.; two sisters-Vonna Daniel (and companion-Luke) of Nancy, Ky. and Angel
Tarter (and companion-Danny Foster) of Monticello, Ky. He was a retired supervisor for
Cumberland Millworks, a member of the Freedom Lodge #643 in Wayne County, an active member
of the Southwestern Boosters and attended Bronston Baptist Tabernacle. He was a devoted
dad, a loving and devote!
d husband, and a caring brother and son-in-law. He loved aniamals. Funeral services were
held Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. James
Mills officiating. Burial followed in the Burnside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Richard
Vinson, Danny Foster, Anthony Tarter, Donald Hughes, Jimmy Foster, Robbie Lowe, Jimmy
Adkins and Gary Cook. Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
