I'm looking for info on Agnes Cain Kirk's parents. Her father's first name may be Cornelius. There was a Cornelius Cain from VA that served in the Revolutionary War. His records are on footnote.com. Thanks, Tracy

Does anyone have any info on the death or any part of life of Charles Cain, born 1835 in England? he came over to western New York in 1860.
His parents were William Cain and Ann Bird, b. 1809 and 1810, but they stayed in England their whole life.
Charles wife was Margaret (Shirley)?
They had Timothy, and probably other children as well.
Any info would help! Thanks!

I'm seeking information about a Joel T Cain from Winchester, Virginia. I can't find anything on him - except an entry in the 1860 Census. He married Hannah Chapman (who I believe was a daughter of George D.B.Chapman and his wife, Hannah (Brady) Chapman). Then, he disappears, and Hannah is living alone with her children by 1870. There doesn't seem a military history for him - which was the obvious answer. (Interestingly, Hannah's sister Emily Chapman married a John Cain - it seems plausible Joel and John Cain were related.)
Can anyone please tell me anything about Joel Cain, or George Chapman, for that matter?....both were born in Virginia - Joel Cain born around 1832, and George Chapman around 1797
