I am related to the Cain's Of Oconee County, SC. My great grandmother was Carrie (Smith?)Cain who was married to Miles Walker Cain. My grandmother was Iva Gertrude Cain who married Clyde Washington Wilson in Oconee County and had five daugthters.
email me at deputymom(a)gmail.com and I will dig out my notebook. My only problem is not the past but the near present. I can not find Miles Walker or Carrie on any census after 1900.
Gayle

He had a son by the name of Michael that was killed between 1965- 1985 in a motorcycle accident. His obituary was in the Clarion Ledge or Hattiesburg American. He had family in Laurel, MS. He has a sister by the name of Jane. His family owned a construction company in He had a son that was killed between 1965 - 1985 named Michael. They may have been from or lived in Columbia, Louisiana. His family owed a construction company that sold out to T.L. James. I believe he was given his middle name after his mother's maiden name. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a picture of him with my grandmother.
