Kelley,
I am interested in your Cain's in Maine for the time period of 1730's. I am trying to find when my Nicholas Cain came to America. I have found a whole island of Cain's on the Isle of Man but can't connect my Nicholas to any of them. Many names are the same in my family, but no direct connection. Could you tell me how long your Cain's were in Maine?

My great grandfather was Cicero Carl Cain from Attala, MS. I went to that link you gave and saw the names Cicero and Carl for a couple different people but I have not been able to connect the dots yet. Thanks for the website. I haven't seen it in the past because the names just weren't exactly what I was looking for.

Valerie,
I just saw an old posting of yours on the message boards on ancestry.com re: Andrew and Charity. I believe Andrew was brother to William Cain. William Caine was father to my ggggrandfather, William Marion Cain. WM Cain married Charity McClane/McClain in 1876 Arkansas. Her mother was Leviza Long. I'd like to discuss and swap information.
