Could the town be "Easton", PA? My brother found a grave marker near Easton, probably in the Raubsville cemetery for a "Cain". Hope this helps.

Always looking for more information. John seems to have had a connection to Humphrey Cain who lived in Dearborn County, Indiana from 1840.
Humphrey may have came across to Indiana from Hamilton County, Ohio as he may have had a land grant there which mentioned that he also had land in Indiana.
Still doing research on Humphrey and will update.
Thank you for your time....

I am looking for any information about one Agnes Helen Cain, born around 1904, in either the month of May or June. She married one John Milton Ziegler, then after his death, remarried one J. Herman (not sure on that spelling). They lived in Eastern PA. She died around 1977 or 1978. She might also be listed as a "Stein or Stien" as there is some debate to her changing her name. I have not be able to find any information on her to date, so any help would be appreciated.

Sondra,
I have two men who might fit your general description. Could you give me a few more details? One was William "Burl" Cain born in Ritchie Co. in 1905 & died on Akron Ohio in 1996. The other was Burley Thomas Cain born in 1889 & died in Parkersburg, in 1978.

I am seeking information on James H. Cain (prob. m. Sylvania Tew) and John
Cain who bought land next to each other in Barbour Co., AL in 1839. I'm
told that a James Cain came to AL with the Adkisons from Robeson County NC
to Richmond County NC to Jefferson County GA to Barbour County AL.
I believe these Cains later were listed in Pike County AL , possibly because
of a change in county lines.
I think my William Cain (1805-1870) could have been related (son?) to these
Cains. My William Cain lived among the Adkinsons in Coffee County. It is
suspected that William's wife was Mary Beasley, the sister of Sarah Beasley,
wife of Britton Adkison.
Obviously, I'm grasping at straws here. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Thank you for looking at the records. Unfortunately I only know of Patrick, and his brothers Michael and Matthew (and perhaps a John). I do not know his parents, nor when they left Ireland. I also only know that Patrick was born before 1765, probably abt. 1759. His sons included Daniel, William, and perhaps James, John. His grandsons also included a Daniel. Also a nephew Daniel. So I was hoping to find a connection through the name. I have been looking to find a Daniel born at the right time to be a father or grandfather to my Patrick. Thanks again!

Candy,
I just re-read your email to me in Oct. & did some more searching through my information from the Isle of Man. You asked it there was a brother of Nicholas born to Daniel Cain & Margaret McBooy named Patrick. Yes, I did find one christened June 27, 1706 in Kirk Michael but he died April 29, 1727 in Kirk Michael. From the baptisimal records that I looked at there were 7 Patrick Cain's born from 1700 until 1730. Do you have a time frame smaller than 1759? I'd be happy to check what I have if you have more information to give me about the Patrick you are looking for.
