Do you know much about Isaac?
My SC Cains descend from William O'Cain.
He lived in the Halifax District of Martin County, NC.
Some of his family migrated to SC in the early 1800s. They lived and still live in the Pamplico area of SC, near Florence,
His sons dropped the O' from their names, sometime after their father died.
Lawrence "Larry" Cain (1785-1864)
Bartholomew Cain (1795-1865)
William Cain II (1790-1 - 1856)
Randel O'Cain died before his father. Did not change his name to Cain.
I have no record (so far) of an Isaac Cain.
There were some Cains in Darlington County, but I do not know anything about them.
If you are interested in these Cains, let me know.

Clarence Cain married Hattie Georgea Wetzel b: 1885 in Bonneville County,
Idaho possibly between 1900-1915. Cannot find record of marriage in
Bonneville County or other Idaho county.
Does anyone know anything about Clarence before this marriage, when and where
this couple was married, and what happened to them after their marriage?
There is some indication that they went to California. Did they have any
children? Death dates for Clarence and Hattie? Other details of interest?
Thanks for any help.

We are looking into the ancestors of Thomas Ruffin Cain to see if they included a Reviere. It seems that his mother may have been Palmyra Louise Reviere, daughter of Armstead and Nancy (Louise Freeman) Reviere of Marianna, Jackson County, Florida.
Does any one have information relating to these persons?

Hi Susan,
I have Cains and an O'Cain in my background. The O'Cains came from
Ireland/Wales in the mid to late 1700's. I believe they went from MD to PA
to VA/WV. Any possible connection?
Pat
