I have a Nathaniel Cahoon md to Jane Jones Thomas who died in
Colchester, NL, CT in 1731. I have him born 2 Feb 1675 in Swansea,
Brist., MA the son of William. My source is a book called "Hisrory of
the Cohoon Family of Port Medway". I don't have the author. Port
Medway is in Queens Co., Nova Scotia. I do NOT consider this a good
source but it might have clues! Priscilla

The children of James Greene and Rebeckah Cahoon(e) that are listed on
the Rhode Island Birth Records are as follows:
Nathaniel Greene born June 4, 1718 Warwick, RI
James Greene born November 29, 1720 Warwick, RI
Wardel Greene born January 23, 1723 Warwick, RI
Jack Greene born November 6, 1724 Warwick, RI
Patience Greene born April 7, 1727 Warwick, RI
Charles Greene born July 28, 1729 Warwick, RI
Rebeckah Cahoon(e) was the daughter of Nathaniel Cahoon and Jane Jones.
And until I find proof of Nathaniel Cahoon(e)'s and Jane Jones's
parentage, I will not consider William Cahoon as being Nathaniel's
father.
I go on documentation rather than hearsay. Documents can be proved,
hearsay cannot.
Block Island was in Newport County, but now is in Washington County, RI
not in Mass.
