Beverly E. Cahoon
Beverly E. "Bev" Cahoon, 68, of Attleboro, died Saturday, Oct. 9,
1999,
at Tobey Hospital in Wareham. She was the wife of Alexanda W. "Alex"
Cahoon.
Born Jan. 5, 1931, in Attleboro, she was the daughter of the late
Harold
and Ethel (Barnes) Farris. She was educated in Attleboro and Norton
schools
and was a graduate of Norton High School, Class of 1949. She had
resided
in Attleboro all of her life.
Mrs. Cahoon had been a dietary aide at Sturdy Memorial Hospital for
three
years, retiring over three years ago. She had previously been employed
by Texas Instruments for 28 years as a quality control group leader.
She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church. Besides her husband,
she
leaves a daughter, Joanne Buckley of Seekonk; two sons, Brian Cahoon
of
Norton and Bruce Cahoon of North Attleboro; a brother, Richard Farris
of
Newfield, Me.; a sister, Audrey West of South Attleboro; seven
grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Thursday, Oct. 14, in the Duffy-Poule
Funeral
Home, 20 Peck St., Attleboro, with the Rev. John Crandall, pastor of
All
Saints Episcopal Church, officiating.
