I have a Michael Cahill which I am unable to locate who his brothers and
sisters could be, if any.
I have no idea who his parents were. He was my Great Great Grandfather. He
would of been born around 1856 give or take. He was married to Margaret
Daugherty (Doherty). They had a bunch of kids and came from England to
Johnstown, PA. to Pittsburgh, PA. Michael and Margaret were both born in
Ireland. I don't know where though.
Thank You
Darlene

I have a Tom Cahill married to an Anastasia Walsh/Welch from the
Modeligo/Vicarstown/Cappoquin area. He was one of 4, - sister Peggy,
brothers Michael and John (who is the father of William, my grandfather.)
He was probably born in Lyrattin, and baptised in the church at Modeligo.
I have 6 children listed for him- Nanny (Norah?)(married Bluett) Rita
(married
Smith) Biddy (married O'Brien), a Mary, a John and a Jimmy.
Tom's parents were Jack Cahill and Mary Connery... but that's
as far back
as I go (so far) as all of my research has come from my mother and her
large
family of brothers and sisters. Her father, William (Liam) Cahill married
Hannah Scanlan and they had 12 children, so I have lots more incidental
information on the Cahill family in general.
Look forward to hearing from you
