Intentions
No my Thomas Cahill stayed in Kansas City Ks the rest of his like.
He
was a
RR detective and married Mary Lally and they had 6 children one of which
was
my grandmother--Elizabeth Cahill Chaney.I don't know who Thomas's parents
were. I believe he came to this country with a Dennis Vaughan who married
Mary
Lally's sister Elizabeth.

Dear Mary,
This is a tough one. If the date of im-
migration is 1860 and birth 1853 on the
census I looked at. My Cahill line had
immigrated about 1861, married about
1855 (from an obit) and had 13 kids of
which I with lots of help have been able
to pin down eleven names.
My great great grandfather Robert and
his wife Hanora have a gap in children
born from their arrival and marriage date.
1855 and then 1858/60 for my great
great grandad to be their first born.
Which railroad? Santa Fe. ??? So many
of the Cahills and their loved ones worked
for Santa Fe RR. Sharon
