I truly appreciate your response. However, I don't think your information fits with
what I know. Limerick has never been mentioned. County Cork has always been the story
passed down. But I found on one of Patrick's daughters death certificate where it
states he was born in Dublin. This particular daughter lived to an old age & was never
married. She lived with her parents & siblings throughout her entire life. I know
Patrick was 16 when they immigrated which would have been around 1848 - 1852. I know
nothing about sisters in his family. That's not to say that he didn't have
sisters, just that it's never been part of the story. The main thing is that I know
that he never saw any of his family members again in his lifetime after being separated
from his brothers in New York. I guess that's the key to what I'm looking for. A
story passed down about this brother Patrick that became separated & they never saw
him again. I know that he married Elizabeth Seward in Missouri on 25 Ma!
y 1856. I have that record.
