You are probably onto something here. James Anderson died in Bourbon
Co., Kansas as did his wife
Elizabeth Cagle. James was of an age that he could have been the father
of your Leonard, but I have
nothing to prove this. James Anderson's father was Isaac Anderson who
married Barbara Dyer, they
had at least the following children; however, this may not be all of
them: James, Robert, Leah, William,
Luke and John.
I hope you find this helpful. If I can be of further assistance, let me
know.

Hello-
Pic Leonard Anderson prior to 1900. Does he look like family??
Looking for info on my husband's gr. grandfather, Leonard Anderson.
So many of your James Anderson & Elizabeth Cagle family died in Lakeport,
Lake Co., Ca. that I thought they might be related. Leonard was b. Apr
1835 d. 22 Sep 1900 Lake Co., Ca. Leonard was married to Rose Turner.
Their first child was b. in Kansas although the others inc. my husband's
grandfather, James Grover Cleveland Anderson, were b. in Lakeport, Lake
Co., Ca.
Leonard may have been something Leonard or Leonard something also have
Owen but can't connect name to census. The great register lists him as
paralysed. James Grover & two of his sons had old age muscular dystophy
leaving them wheel chair bound for many yrs. Is there any mention of
that in your Anderson history??
Thanks for any info. Happy Holidays.
Anne
