Carol,
Alfred C and Velma had children beginning in 1873 and ending in 1897;
however, there is a six
year span between Loudella and Velma M, but only one year between Velma M
and Alfred C,
the last two children. So, it is entirely possible Alfred C had a second
wife and Velma M and
Alfred C are the children of this second marriage. Much more research is
necessary before we
can state definitely that he didn't marry a Martha ?, and move to
Tennessee.
Keep up the good work and keep me advised of your progress.

Wow, that was quick! Looks like the new found cousin was right and the
other info from other sites was wrong. They show Enoch's son Alfred b.
1852 and marrying a Martha......going to TN.

I found this listing on the LDS site. Only knew of Walter L. and

living with her daughter Marion. Marion is very interested in the
Leaches also. Seems she has 'em on both sides! She isn't on line, but
is going to send me copies of what she has. Her mother is almost blind
and deaf, but with a sharp mind, so hopefully she can give some info.
Thanks,
Carol
