Henry Cagle one of the rather born. 1730-1802 was the son of Leonhart Cagle
the founder of our Cagle's and the William 1754 is his son that married Mary
Barrett. The DAR's are very hard to be a member. I am a DAR through my Belt
/Cagle line. I will say some people do give wrong information and that is
there forever. You haft to have a connection from you to the veteran. It
took me two years to get in. They will except more things now. Also if a
relative have already made it as a member, another relative can become a
member using your information and adding their information to that.
Sincerely, LaMona Waldron Phillips a Cagle descendant.

This brings up an interesting question. Does anyone know what the DAR does
in a case where the info submitted for membership either is questioned or
is
later proven to be in error? Just curious.
