Roger,
I would recommend you write Texas Dept of Vital Statistics for a birth
certificate of your father. This will give you the names of
his mother and father. I am sure I can give you any information you
would want regarding ancestry once you obtain your grandparents
names.
In genealogy, a birth date of 1927 is relatively recent so, unless you
find a direct relative, you probably won't get any information
for other sources. There are also, birth and death registers for Texas
on
rootsweb.com. You might try searching this source.

P.S. I am sending this to our Cagle research group in hopes someone
might have the information you are seeking.

To whom it may concern.
I was searching through the Archives of the Cagle name
and come across your name and a few others that i will try getting in
touch with at a later date.
My given name at birth was Roger Lee Cagle and my bio fathers
name is
Richard Lee Cagle.I was born April 3,1950 which now puts me at the age
of 53 and id say for the past 40 years i have been searching for my bio
father. In 1956 i was adopted and given my stepfathers name and to this
day i wouldnt know my bio father if i were to pass him on the street. To
this day my mother will not give me any info to help me out. In all these
years all she has given me is your bio father has passed on and that he
has a sister. I do know that he was born in Houston Texas 1927and
possibly he has relatives in the state of Oklahoma because i was born in
Enid Oklahoma. If for anything after all these years i would like to find
him or his medical records for my own purpose. Not getting any younger.
Yes and of course it would be nice to see if i have other sibblings out
there. Thank You Very Much
for takeing the time out to read my History.
Sincerely Roger
