Dianne,
I am the search engine which crawled the internet, emailed others and
searched various records including state
and county (if they were on the internet), rootsweb, LDS, etc. However,
most of the information camer from
individual members of out list. Then I compiled the information from
these
sources and using a software program, "Family Tree Maker" which formatted
it, was able to furnish the data
that I sent you to verify that portion which you know about. This has
been a six year project, sometimes consuming
14 to 18 hours per day.
I wish there was a search engine that could do as you suggest. It would
certainly save me a lot of time. Yes, this
is an attempt by me to correlate and one day post a complete chart of
Leonard Kegel's descendants. I know I will
never complete it, but I continue working diligently with breaks to
assist others. I hope to complete as much as
possible as a legacy to those generations which follow us. They should
know they come from good pioneer stock, folks
who worked hard, cleared the land, tilled the fields and raised children
under the most difficult of conditions. These
were simple folks who depended on themselves and the protection of God
which was uppermost in their minds. I
have learned more about my family in these past 6 yrs than the previous
61. I have a new ly found respect for them and can
definitely state, I don't want to go back to the "good ole days".
If you will check that portion as applies to your Cagle Clan directly
against your documented data, I would appreciate
it very much. If there are errors please let me know so I can correct
them.
Thanks,
Lee Cagle
Okla City
P.S. Those of you on the list, if you notice something which you know to
be wrong, please let me know.

Lee,
Thanks so much. I am to take it that this method was from a
search engine that crawls the interent and finds all this info and
puts it all together. Wonderful. Computers are amazing.
A whole lot less paper that way. lol. I have tons of hard copy
stuff I just HAD to print. I had seen bits and pieces of a lot of
this in different places. Some of which I know I probably
interjected. A small part at least. This will surely help me with
making the relationships when I make some more pictures in a few
weeks. Tell me, one would still use this as guide.......or mostly
fact? My cousins go to Ebenezer Church and my Mom as well while
summering in Hendersonville. Mary Adeline Cagle Sexton is buried
across the street at Moore's Grove at the top of the hill closest
the
road. We marked it with a beautiful stone a few years ago before my
Dad died. Zoro McKinley Cagle is buried on the far other side from
her closer to the other road. 64 East one way and I guess 64 West
the other. I think. I could not find Marcus Lafayette Cagle's grave
when we went to Dana Methodist Church Cemetery. I did find with a
fairly new stone, however, William Thomas Cagle Sr. and Catherine
Case. I believe it was Robert and Rachel's also I took pictures
of.
Thanks again for all your help. Through this internet I was
able
to connect and talk a few times this past year with cousins whose
grandfather was a son of Marcus and Julia's, Paul Cagle. I am hoping
to get in touch with her again before I arrive in the Carolinas so
that I might finally meet some of the Cagle's. I had only been able
to meet Zoro's wife last year and Mary Cagle sister my Aunt Nell was
the only one we ever had a chance to know. I also connect with a
number of cousins on the Sexton side through the internet that I
actually had the opportunity to meet at the reunion last year.
Only four more days and my year will be over at the school I
work.
Students got out June 11 but the clerical staff have to work an
extra
week. I am a Media Assistant and that includes me.
Thanks again,
Diane Brantley
The "ari" part I have never changed as I used to belong to a great
chat group that still exists I think now will be about 7 years. I
used to help Opt the room and keep it clean. It's like part of me
now. Aries + Ram = ariram
