Poplarville, Miss. Jan. 4 - On the last night of the old year Mr. and Mrs.
O.B.Cagle opened their suburban home to their young friends at a leap year
dance. The rooms were tastefully decorated and dancing to the exquisite
music of a string band was indulged in until the bells rang in the New
Year. Those dancing were : Misses Bessie, Irene and Lena Vance, Bessie
Scarborough, Bessie and Katie Clark, Josephine Newton, Mary Skain Ward,
Lora Ballard, Eloise Talley, of Bogalusa, and Frances Pettibone, of
Orvisburg, and Gordon Newton, Gartrell, Gridley, Jordan, Guy Scarbrough,
Orr, Smith, Jim Eiland, Lassiter, N.O. Brown, Will and Rob Batty, Jim
Clapper, G.E. Bishop, and Jones; Mr. and Mrs. Llyod Prentice, and Mrs. J.B.
Newton. At a late hour refreshments were served.
