Sandra & List,
Mary Cagle's middle name was Elvira, and also spelled Alvira. She is my
g-grandmother who was married to T.W.Cagle (Thomas William Cagle).
She disappeared from her family household after the 1900 Census. It has
always been unclear to me what happend to her. Her husband and children are
buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston Mississippi Co; MO. There is
however, no record of her burial there. They were married in Oregon Co; MO;
as Lee Cagle, mentions in his posting. Her maiden name is listed as Cagle,
but I have yet to find a Cagle family, she belongs to. The census shows her
born in August 1860, in an unknown county. It says her father was born in
Tennessee, and she doesn't know where her mother was born.
There is a Mary A.Cagle, buried in Lanes Chapel Cemetery Red River Co; TX.
This may be her but the only way I may ever prove it is with a DNA test.
She has been my block wall and someday I hope to find out what happened to
her.
Earl

Is this Mary Alene Cagle (basing this on World Connect records, Lee's
file)?
If so, her husband Thomas W.
(T.W.) shows up in the 1910 Hickman County, TN census as a widower living
with his daughter, Ida May, 14, born in MO. Mary must have died between
1900 and 1910. Think this is the same family. If not, hope somebody can
use this information. No Mary A. Cagle listed in 1910 Red River County,
TX
census.
