Descendants of Alfred Augustus Cagle
Generation No. 1
1. Alfred Augustus8 Cagle (John Robert7, Augustus6, Benjamin Franklin
Sr5, Leonard4, Jacob3, Johan Theobald2, Leonhart1 Kegel) was born 21
August 1905 in Cagle Corners, DeKalb, AL, and died 22 August 1906 in
Cagle Corners, DeKalb, AL.
Notes for Alfred Augustus Cagle:
Buried in Walker's Chapel Cemetery near Ft Payne, DeKalb County, Alabama
in Jackson burial plots between his Grandmother Mary Frances "Fannie"
Williams, Jackson, Higgins and Julia Jackson Evatt, daughter of "Fannie"
and Millard Jackson. He is the oldest son of John Robert Cagle, b. 1879
Haralson Co., GA and Della Van Jackson, b. 1883, Ft Payne, DeKalb, AL.
Alfred died at Cagles Corners, later known as Dogtown, near Walker's
Chapel Cemetery in DeKalb Co., AL. Cagle's Corners was named for the fact
three
of the four corners of the intersection were owned by Jasper Luther Cagle
and his mother, Sabra Ann Hart Cagle. Alfred died of "the fever", I
suppose
typhoid. Both, he and Grandpa John R Cagle had it at the same time.
Alfred was their only child at the time; his death was devastating to my
grandmother,
Della Jackson Cagle.

Little guy was all alone and I wondered if he's been connected to a
family yet.
