Thanks for the census data from Burke Co; NC. I too think these must be Cagle's, as I
have never heard of a surname "Lagle". Has anyone on our list ever heard of this
surname before? I would like to see the actual census film copy to make my own
determination.

All of these families show up in the 1st & 2nd Regiment in Burke County. With these
names, I think these are Cagles instead of Lagles too. If you can't read this, or if
