DiAnne,
I'm Sorry for your loss. I too have wondered how
prevalent cancer is in the Cagle line. 3 of my aunts
have died from cancer, while in their 40's. I also
have a cousin recently diagnosed with colon cancer at
40 years old.
I have 2 converging Cagle family lines:
Leonhart(1684-abt 1754), Johan (David)(1728-1780),
Henry(abt 1760-1838), Charles(1799-aft 1860), James
Riley(1824-1904),
Delilah Emaline(1856-1937), James Henry(1874-1961),
Floyd(1909-1973), Jean (my mother)is 1st family line.
Leonhart(1684-abt 1754), Johan (David)(1728-1780),
Valentine(1756-aft1815), John(1798-1863),
Malinda(1824-1863), Delilah Emaline(1856-1937), James
Henry(1874-1961), Floyd(1909-1973), Jean (my mother)is
2nd family line.
I'm new to this list. I would appreciate any info on
my family lines.

Hello to all my fellow Cagle Researchers. I am
writing to inform you of the passing of one of my
seven brothers, Richard Allen Cagle, born October
27,1938, in Bristol, TN. He lost his life to
cancer, October 17, 2004, here in Michigan, after
moving back here a week earlier from Greer, S.C.,
He is the second brother I have lost to lung cancer
and I have another brother, Charles Cagle, who has
colon cancer.
I wonder how prevalent cancer is in our Cagle lines?
My family line goes back to David, George H, Isaac,
John Leander Cagle, Franklin James Cagle (my
father.)
