David & Earl,
It is probably no use to you, but I found George's son, Henry C Cagle.
1900 Census of Oklahoma Territory, Okla City, Twp, California Street,
sheet 15, line 9.
Cagle, Henry C Head W/M 39 Jan 1861 MO
Ida Wife W/F 34 Dec 1865 MO
Harry Son W/M 18 Sep 1881 MO
Waldon Son W/M 16 Dec 1883 MO
John Son W/M 9 Aug 1890
I thought this might provide a clue as to the rest of the family, but
couldn't locate anything
else. Would have been great if we could have found George living with
his son.

Thanks Earl and Lee,
I haven't been on the Genweb for Fannin Co., TX lately. Those
people you
mentioned do not look familiar. The George Cagle I mentioned was
born in
1824 and would not likely be the same a George who died in 1935.
This George Cagle of New Madrid MO and Fannin Co., TX is not my
line. I am
a descendent of John Cagle, the older brother of George who remained
in
Hardin Co., TN and died there in 1979. John and George had two
sisters who
remained in Hardin County. Susan Cagle and Edna Debba Cagle Smith.
Two
sisters went to new Madrid Co. MO. Eliza Cagle Bishop and Sarah
Cagle
Hulin.
I think John Cagle, son of George above, remained in New Madrid Co.,
MO and
lived near Moorehouse. There may still be relatives there today?
David
