Robert H. Cagle, 85, of Okeechobee, Fla., died Friday, July 16, 2004, at
Raulerson Hospital.
Born May 14, 1919, he was the son of William and Lenore Shaffer Cagle.
Mr. Cagle lived in Okeechobee for the past 20 years.
He served in the U.S. Army infantry during World War II.
He was a member of the Parrott Avenue Christian Church and High Noon Masonic
Lodge 635 of Cincinnati.
Survivors include his wife, Claudine E. Cagle of Okeechobee; one son, Hugh
Cagle of Tomaha, Okla.; one daughter, Marian Carder of Tomaha; five
grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill Cagle Bowen of Denver and one
sister, Alice D. Blevins, also of Denver.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at DeJong's Funeral Home in
Keokuk.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Park in
Keokuk with Masonic rites by Keokuk Lodge 29.
A memorial has been established for Hospice of Okeechobee, P.O. Box 1548,
Okeechobee, Fla. 34973.
